By booking a rental through Greek Closet, you agree to these terms. Please read them before booking.
You must be at least 18 years old to book a rental.
Items listed on Greek Closet are available for temporary rental only. Booking an item does not transfer ownership. Items remain the property of Greek Closet at all times.
You agree to pick up and return your rented item(s) on the date and time specified at booking. We photograph every item at pickup and again at return, documenting its condition each time. By booking, you agree to this documentation process, and you agree that these photographs may be used to assess the item’s condition and determine whether any damage charge under Section 5 applies.
Items returned after the agreed return date are subject to a late fee of $5 per day late. If an item is more than 7 days late, we reserve the right to charge the full retail replacement value of the item, as determined by Greek Closet.
Normal wear from a single evening’s wear (minor wrinkling, faint makeup transfer, typical use) is expected and not charged. Damage beyond normal wear includes, but is not limited to: stains that do not wash out, tears, burns, broken zippers or clasps, missing pieces, or any damage that makes the item unrentable to a future renter.
If an item is returned with damage beyond normal wear, we will compare the pickup and return photographs described in Section 3 to assess the damage. Depending on severity, you will be charged either (a) a cleaning or repair fee sufficient to restore the item to rentable condition, or (b) if the item cannot reasonably be restored to rentable condition, the item’s full retail replacement value, as determined by Greek Closet. We do not require an upfront deposit — this photo documentation process is what allows us to skip that, and is also the basis on which any damage charge is determined.

Greek Closet is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your use of a rented item at an event. Items are provided as-is; you are responsible for wearing and handling them appropriately.
You must affirmatively accept these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy, before completing any booking. We record the date and time of your acceptance with each booking.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Greek Closet after changes means you accept the updated terms.
